Adrian is very pleased to announce that Fanfare Ciocarlia will be joining him in the studio this fall to record 10 of his fan-favourites! Adrian has always considered Fanfare to be one of the best bands in the world and he is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them. They truly are the real deal!

Famous for their exhilarating rapid-fire playing and skill at playfully mixing western influences with traditional themes, Fanfare Ciocarlia are highly regarded as the world’s greatest Gypsy brass band and have recorded some of the most rousing music on the planet. Just got back from the Zihuatanejo International Guitar Festival in Mexico. Special thanks to all of the organizers and volunteers that made our stay so special. It was an honour to perform with and get to know so many incredible musicians. Check out the gallery for photos. Extra special thanks to Catherine Krantz for letting me be part of the greatest guitar festival on the planet. Thanks also to all of our Zihua friends for all of the beautiful memories. Adrian was just in the studio putting the finishing touches on his latest rockabilly project with his new group, "The Big Deal".  The group features Troy Bridgeman on vocals and Kris Raso on drums. Adrian was just in the studio with drum phenom Marco Minnemann recording a new single. Marco's performance is absolutely mind-blowing!!! More news coming soon. Photos from the session are in the gallery as well as some shots from the Vanner Fair.

Dead Man's Hand - The brand new, super-charged instrumental Rockabilly single, featuring Adrian Raso on guitar, Lee Rocker (The Stray Cats) on bass, and Kevin Figueiredo (Extreme) on drums, will be available for download on Tuesday, February 8th, 2011. "You've never heard bass like this before. It's been an long-time dream of mine to work with the legendary Lee Rocker and he absolutely rips it up on this track. KFigg is a hard-hitting monster drummer who brings his slammin' style to another level on Dead Man's Hand."

Rounding out this collaboration is the honourary fourth member of the group, Grammy-award winning and multi-platinum producer, Bob St. John (Duran Duran, Extreme). "Bob has made everything sound fantastic and he could very well have the greatest ears on the planet." The ultra-cool artwork is the creation of UK-based artist/illustrator, Vince Ray.

On February 8th, people will be dealt a huge dose of much-needed heart pumpin', foot stompin' rock 'n' roll.

Hey, listen up everybody!!! Big. Huge. News. Adrian is wrapping up the final tracking for his new album (as of yet, untitled, but he's always looking for suggestions) due out in early 2011. Now, here's where it gets really *really* exciting....joining him is an artist who is in the league of superstar divas. Seriously. The ultra-talented, muy caliente, Sheila E. is making an appearance on the upcoming record. This has been a dream of Adrian's since his childhood. For those of you who have been living under a rock (and not rolling) and don't know Sheila E., she's only one of the most influential and greatest percussionists that has ever walked the face of the earth, period. No joke. Ask Prince. Or RingoStarr.

If that wasn't enough, how about Kevin Figueiredo. Are you currently trying to place his name? How about KFigg? Still having a bit of a head-scratcher? What about if we gave you a hint that he hits really hard and has really cool hair? Give up? How about being the drummer for the multi-platinum, rock-band Extreme!!! This guy rocks and Adrian is thrilled to have him on the upcoming album. KFigg will also be part of a very special project with another really, really, *really* super cool "cat" (That's a major hint *wink wink* *meow meow*). This project is due to be released in January 2011 and we'll have another update on this soon.

Then there's Adrian's brother, Kristin. He has no hair. He's never, ever been on a multi-platinum album. As a matter of fact, this is the first album he's ever been on....and he completely nails it down! Kristin toured this past summer with Adrian in Italy and it's great to have him as part of the project.

The band had a great time at the Market Fresh Fall Food Fair this past weekend.  Special thanks to Frank & Dale, Jim, Cliff, the Market Fresh Staff, and all of the vendors that participated.  The crowd was fantastic and the food was amazing.  We'll be posting some video footage in a couple of days.  Check back to see some incredible dance moves!!!

 Just got back from touring Italy over the summer.  The shows went extremely well - Italy has an outstanding artistic culture and the people are totally crazy about music.  I think San Giorgio is the most incredible place on earth.  

It was amazing spending so much time with my family ("ciao" Zia C., Zio R., Zio S., Gianluigi, Titziana & Daniele, Simone, Sara & Roby, Agnese, Angelo & Alessandra, Marta & Tonino, Giuditta & Gianluca, Francesco, and Cristina!!!)  and meeting so many new friends ("ciao" Mimi and family, Nando, Nadia, Maria-Theresa & Antonio, Nino & family, Ciccio, Michele, Salvatore, Vitto, and Giuseppe & Giuseppe).  I miss all of you!!!

I'll be posting photos of the trip and some concert footage on the site very shortly.
